The First Wedding Video in IMAX 3D Quality, Ever!

The wedding took place in beautiful Montecito, California was captured with Genus Pet and RED Epic in 5K resolution 3D. This is the first time ever a wedding was shot in IMAX 3D quality. This special wedding also made headlines in the UK. Capturing the precious moment of a couple in 3D was not an easy task, but Peter Chang, one of the principal cinematographers from Golden Gate 3D make this possible with Genus Hurricane Rig. 

"The Genus Hurricane 3D rig in combination with a Steadicam provided us with the lightweight mobility (total rig weight was less than 50lb) necessary to capture the fast-paced wedding filled with spontaneous moments. This was a normal wedding - nothing was rehearsed. The Hurricane enabled us to keep up!" by Peter Chang
