Brazilian Cinematography Association (ABC), an association formed by leading Brazilian directors of photography, held Cinematography Week in São Paulo from May 9 to 11. This is one of the major event in Brazilian Motion Picture industry.

Genus had its appearance in China International, Photograph & Electrical Imaging Machinery and Technology Fair (China P&E) 2012 in Beijing. The Fair is widely recognized as one of the most prestigious photographic equipment fair in Asia.
